This past Saturday we took Hud to the zoo for the first time.
He wanted to touch the animals SO bad!
Kyle even let Hud drive a little while going through the drive thru part of the safari...which he thought was pretty awesome!! :)
He eventually got tired of seeing all the animals and reverted to playing with the vents.
I don't think he's too sure of what to make of that big animal....it's a lot bigger than his dogs.

After spending several days in Hot Springs, we came home for a night then headed off to Kansas City for the 4th. Hud did so good considering he had only slept in his crib once in a week and half! He was quite the trooper. We got to shop, watch two of Uncle Ryan's baseball games, and see our first fireworks!!

During Uncle Ryan's first game he hit Hud two home runs! Hud's great-uncle Pat went and got both balls for him!

Hudson loves to give himself kisses. He will kiss himself anytime he sees himself in a mirror or on the phone. Lindsey has him as her screen saver on her phone.....SO the next picture says it all!!

The happy couple (brother Ryan and sister-n-law Britney). Their little boy is due on Sept. 8th....three days after Hud's birthday! :) BUT....no name yet! :/
This was a cute game that they played that asked questions and they each had a boy shoe and girl shoe to hold up.....Ryan won on this question!
All Britney's high school girlfriends are pregnant together just like my girlfriends and I were....except the red head, Holly (she was our Destiny:)! I told her she'd have to get on the ball!

I can't believe my baby just turned 10 months old this week and that he's SO close to being a year old! His new favorite thing that he started doing last week is saying bye bye but he waves to himself while he's doing it....it's so cute!
