Kyle's B-day

Well, this weekend Kyle turned 29....he gets one more year in his 20's. This weekend he asked me to make the birthday cake that his mamaw always made for him on his birthday - strawberry cake with strawberry icing. Needless to say I have never baked anything from scratch, and this weekend I attempted cake and icing from scratch. This is how his beautiful birthday cake turned out....WOW! Even though it wasn't the prettiest thing ever, at least it was still eatable! :)

What's new with our baby boy....
He successfully says touchdown and raises hands above his head.
Coincidence.....I think not!

He's walking all over the place, so Kyle decided it was time to bust out his golf clubs.

We went shopping for Hud's birthday which is this Sunday the 5th, but we're so excited to show him what we got him that we busted it out a weekend early. We figured he's have plenty of other gifts to open on his actual birthday! :) We got him the Mega Play Tent behind him in this picture. He loves it....anything that comes with balls!!

putting balls through the holes

made it through the tunnels to the middle tent where the balls are

ecstatic that he found his balls

wanted to go back out side and daddy was in the way, so he just crawled right over him

outside the tent now and looking back in at Kyle and I

Lil' Drew's Visit

Little Drew came to Rogers to have a 1st birthday party! It was a pool party and we had so much fun....as you can see on Hud's face!!
The birthday girl and her daddy!

Drew with the two boys at the party....McCoy and Hudson

enjoying her cupcake

Hudson, Ella Claire, Drew, and McCoy

This is Hudson pushing Drew around in her new car!

Auntie Shea was kind enough to give Hudson his first haircut while she was here....we were looking a little scraggly!

We finally found something to entertain him during the haircut...the cellphone!!

Thanks Shea for the haircut!! :)
It looks so good!

6 Year Anniversary

We went to Chicago for our 6 year anniversary and had so much fun. It was our first time to leave our baby boy for 5 days! Kyle has been without him over night because of work, but Hud had never been away from his momma over night. He had a blast with Gigi and Aunt Lindsey though, and they had so much fun being with him!
It was nice not to be on Hud's little schedule anymore and to have time all to ourselves to do whatever we wanted when we wanted to do it! :)
I loved watching these guys!

This was Kyle's favorite part.

Small world....I ended up sitting next to a girl that lives in Illinois, but lived in Rogers til she was 8 and went to Grace Hill Elementary the same time I did....how weird!

Our boat tour
We also went up on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building and it was amazing!! I'm a little scared of heights though so I tried not to think about how high we were....we went at night so that made it more manageable! :)
