Loaded Memorial Weekend!

Little Miss Drew got into town right before the busy weekend started....I was so excited to see her! :)

On Saturday we had Whitley Westmoreland's 1st birthday party. The little birthday girl looked adorable! :) Hudson had so much fun with all the kiddos his age!

After the birthday party we headed to Hot Springs. Grandpa and I swinging on the porch swing.

Grandma and Grandpa swinging with me....I love this thing!

I especially loved when grandpa would let me hang on the side!

I was excited to see dad when he got home from his float trip..

Oh how my daddy wishes I were a country boy, like he was when he was little! But that's a little hard to do where I live! This is my first experience with real cows.

I thought they were silly cows!

Then off to my daddy's FAVORITE place to go.....the creek on the farm. Hudson thought it was pretty cool too! :)

Randoms.....

I love playing with my daddy's hat.....I think it's so funny!

My First Baseball Game

Our first Natuals baseball game. Hudson was so excited to see that so many dogs could join us.....it was Bark at the Park, so it had plenty of furry things to look at!

Don't we make quite the pair!!

Mommy Play Date

I get mommy all to myself tonight!
Kyle was fishing tonight so it was just Hud Man and I all night. It seems like forever since I got out my camera and took pictures of the little man. Things get so hectic that I haven't just layed around with him and snapped pictures while we were playing in a long time.
BUT....the great news is that I officially have 18 days of school left and much more laying around with my little guy coming REAL soon!! :)
He is crawling around like crazy....he is going crazy on our bed.
If you notice that we don't have any furniture in our room, clothes on the floor, bed on the floor, and a bed spread that doesn't match......no, we don't live like nomads. I recently sold all our bedroom furniture in a garage sale without having any new furniture waiting. Good news is that I got to go shopping.....bad news is that our room will look like this for another week.

I got a new camera with a screen on the front so you can see yourself while holding out the camera in front of you to take a picture, but you don't even have to push the button, it senses when it sees a smiling face and will take the picture as soon as it sees a smile. Where was this thing when I was in high school!! Those that know me will understand that last comment! ;)

These crawling pics are for you Auntie Shea......not only have we been counting down til the end of school but also to your visit!!

AND.....found out where that annoying flash was coming from....

Aunt Lindsey came over to play too.....Hud just loves Aunt Lindsey!

Hud was showing Aunt Lindsey all of his new tricks like kissing...
(they can get pretty slobbery)
and giving a high five (thanks to daddy :)

This was last week we went to see baby Ella Claire. Whitley and Hudson are on each side of little EC. I can't believe how big they look standing next to her!

Where does the time go??

I just don't know where the time goes...I can be so good about posting sometimes and then sometimes things get SO hectic that a month will pass til I post again! I'm home with my little one that is sick...I guess that there is a stomach bug going around. The first time your little one runs a fever is not fun! Poor guy - and on top of it he is teething. The teeth on top have been nothing like our teeth on the bottom. :(
So, while I'm at home with my little one I decided to catch up on some much needed posting!

He loves to pull himself up on our ottoman.

This is Hudson and his friend McCoy. He finally got a boy play date. The boy has VERY few play dates with boys, but more than enough "girlfriend" play dates! We had so much fun!

Actually someone his own size :)
He's already out grown his girlfriends, who are a few months older than him by the way!

We are so excited to have an addition to the clan. My good friend Destiny had her baby, Ella Claire! We had our first play date at their house.

Des and Hud

He's not sure what to think of something so small!

I can't believe he was as small as Ella Claire just a short 7 months ago! They grow so fast!

He is about to crawl any day. This is a cute picture of daddy "showing" Hud how to crawl. Hudson really looks like he's taking notes!

He could just stay in the push-up position forever. Mr. Competitive Dad is already taking bets that he could hold a push up longer than other boys his age! :)
I'm sure this is only the beginning since we have a little boy cousin arriving in September. With the boys only being a year apart I can just hear Kyle and my brother betting away right now!

We take one "real" crawl and then lay on our stomach and bear crawl until he reaches what he's after.

We went to JC Penny's to get Easter pictures instead of going to the usual lady we go to for pictures because I had seen an advertisement with what I thought to be REAL bunnies. Well, found out when we got there that "We don't have real bunnies, but we have bunnies that look very real." Unless I'm more sleep deprived than I thought.....these are not the stinking bunnies that I saw in their advertisement! :) But I didn't leave totally disappointed, she actually got some really cute pictures of him!
Excuse the big glare....I was taking pictures of the pictures that we ordered with my camera in order to post them!

This was the Easter Bunny that Aunt Lindsey got him. It sings and hops. He wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but you can see by the next picture that he finally found it to be really funny.

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Britney got me baby Elmo - Hudson is obsessed with Elmo. Especially the "Elmo Song." He could watch it on the computer forever.

He eventually got into the grass in the basket and hated how it stuck to his hands, but it was real funny when Pawpaw put it on his head!

More of my Easter outfit.....

Sorry for such a long post.....I had so much to get in that I had to just cram it all together! :)
